アメリカ、カナダ、日本の5大学からの参加者と国際交流を楽しみました！ 日本・アメリカ・カナダから参加！ 社会人も学生も一緒に楽しくお話しました！ English will follow 日本時間 4/19、アメリカ時間（CST）4/18に、第10回"Language Exchange Free Talk Event"を開催しました！ 今回は初めて、カナダのトロント大学、オタワ大学、アルゴンキ大学からも参加してくれました！テーマである新学期について話したり、自分の専攻やとっている授業などについて話したり、またテーマ以外の話題でも盛り上がりました。 さらに、自由に会話してSNSの交換もするなど、外国に友達の輪を広げる素晴らしい機会となりました！！ 参加者のみなさん、ありがとうございました！！！ 今後も開催予定です！ぜひご参加いただけると嬉しいです✨ Unlimited and PAW(SA) had our 10th "Language Exchange Free Talk Event" on April 18th CST and 19th JST! 🙌 We had our first time attendees from University of Toronto, University of Ottawa, and Algonquin College! Everyone had fun talking about our topic: New Semester, majors, classes we took and are taking, and more. クイズやエッグドロップチャレンジで盛り上がりました！ チーム対抗エッグドロップチャレンジ！ English will follow 4月17日にイースターパーティーを開催しました🐣✨ イースタークイズで盛り上がった後は、チーム対抗のエッグドロップチャレンジ🥚🔥 それぞれ工夫を凝らして、楽しく挑戦することができました！ お菓子を食べながら、笑いの絶えない素敵な時間になりました！ 参加してくれたみなさん、ありがとうございました！ 次回はピクニックイベントでお会いしましょう☀️🌿 We held an Easter party on April 17th🐣✨ After getting excited with an Easter quiz, we moved on to a team-based Egg Drop Challenge🥚🔥 Each team came up with creative ideas and had a great time taking on the challenge! The Special Tour at the Dallas Museum of Art (Apr 4, 2026) Group Photo at Dallas Museum of Art 米国時間の4月4日、JCW主催で「ダラス美術館・アートとカフェを楽しむ午後」イベントを開催しました。会場となったダラス美術館は、幅広い時代と地域のコレクションを誇る美術館で、落ち着いた空間の中でゆったりとアートに触れることができる場所です。 当日は、同美術館で長年にわたりドーセント（美術館ガイド）としてご活躍されてきた中本慶子さんをお迎えし、特別レクチャー付きのツアーを実施しました。中本さんの丁寧でわかりやすい解説により、作品そのものの美しさだけでなく、制作された時代背景やアーティストの意図、文化的な文脈まで深く理解することができ、参加者の皆さまにとって非常に学びの多いひとときとなりました。普段は見過ごしてしまいがちな細部にも目を向けるきっかけとなり、アートの楽しみ方がより広がったとの声も多く聞かれました。 At Museum Café ツアー終了後は、美術館内のカフェに場所を移し、ネットワーキングタイムを実施しました。アート鑑賞後の余韻が残る中で、参加者同士が感想を共有し合いながら自然と会話が弾み、和やかな雰囲気に包まれました。JCWならではの温かいつながりが感じられる時間となり、それぞれのバックグラウンドや関心を共有しながら、新たなご縁が生まれる貴重な機会となりました。 ご参加いただいた皆さま、そして素晴らしいレクチャーをご提供くださった中本慶子さんに、心より感謝申し上げます。 今後もこのような学びと交流を兼ね備えたイベントを企画してまいりますので、ぜひご期待ください。 On April 4 (U.S. time), JCW hosted an event titled “An Afternoon of Art and Café at the Dallas Museum of Art.” The venue, the Dallas Museum of Art, is known for its extensive collection spanning a wide range of periods and regions, offering a calm and welcoming space where visitors can immerse themselves in art at a relaxed pace. On the day of the event, we were honored to welcome Ms. Kay Nakamoto, who has served for many years as a docent (museum guide) at the museum, to lead a special guided tour with an in-depth lecture. Through her thoughtful and easy-to-understand explanations, participants were able to appreciate not only the beauty of each artwork, but also gain a deeper understanding of the historical background, artistic intent, and cultural context behind them. Many attendees shared that the experience encouraged them to notice details they might otherwise have overlooked, broadening their perspective and enriching the way they engage with art. Following the tour, we gathered at the museum café for a networking session. With the lingering inspiration from the art experience, conversations flowed naturally as participants exchanged impressions and insights in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It was a meaningful opportunity to foster connections unique to JCW, where individuals could share their backgrounds and interests while building new relationships. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who participated, and especially to Ms. Kay Nakamoto for her inspiring and insightful lecture. We look forward to continuing to organize events that combine learning and connection, and hope you will join us again in the future.

We split into small groups for introductions and icebreakers, and our graduating members gave a presentation about how Unlimited was founded. We also checked our Team Charter to reaffirm our vision and direction. To celebrate our graduates, we surprised them with cakes, gifts, and message cards from members🍰🎁 Congratulations once again to all our graduates🎉 With stronger bonds, Unlimited will continue to grow and take on new challenges in the coming year✨

The 8th Anniversary Event "Empower Her Market" (Mar 7, 2026) 米国時間3月7日、JCWは8周年記念イベント「Empower Her Market」をテキサス州プレーノ市で開催しました。会場は、ダラス・フォートワース日米協会のご厚意によりご提供いただきました。 JCW Staff Members and PAW(SA) Members 当日の朝は激しい雷雨に見舞われましたが、イベント開始時間が近づくにつれ、雨も一時的に小降りとなりました。 会場には、グルメ、デザート、アート、アクセサリー、サービスなど、計20のブースが出展。また、茶道裏千家淡交会ダラス・フォートワース協会にもご参加いただき、抹茶の点て方体験など、日本文化を楽しんでいただける機会も設けられました。 あいにくの天候にもかかわらず、多くの方々にご来場いただきました。 ダラス周辺でこれほど多くの女性がビジネスを展開されていることに改めて驚かされるとともに、出展者の皆様のエネルギーとパワーに大きな刺激をいただきました。 新しいネットワークも広がり、心に残る素晴らしい8周年の節目となりました。 ご出展いただいた皆様、会場をご提供くださったダラス・フォートワース日米協会、そしてご来場くださった皆様に心より感謝申し上げます。 JCWはこれからも、働く女性、そして挑戦する女性を応援し続けてまいります。 On March 7 (U.S. time), JCW held its 8th anniversary event, “Empower Her Market,” in Plano, Texas. The venue was generously provided by the Japan-America Society of Dallas/Fort Worth. Although the morning began with heavy thunderstorms, the rain eased as the event start time approached. The event featured a total of 20 booths, including gourmet food, desserts, art, accessories, and various services. We were also honored to have participation from the Urasenke Tankokai Dallas-Fort Worth Association, where visitors had the opportunity to experience Japanese culture through a matcha tea preparation demonstration. Despite the rainy weather, many guests joined us for the event. It was inspiring to see so many women entrepreneurs in the Dallas area, and we were truly energized by the passion and power of all the exhibitors. The event helped create new connections and networks, making it a memorable and meaningful celebration of JCW’s 8th anniversary. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the exhibitors, the Japan-America Society of Dallas/Fort Worth for generously providing the venue, and everyone who attended the event. A guided tea tasting experience that explores the rich aromas and flavors of Chinese tea (Feb 21 2026) 米国時間の2月21日に「中国茶の魅力を知ろう」イベントをTexas州Frisco市で開催しました。主催会場の Greenova Tea 様のご厚意により、和やかな雰囲気の中で、中国茶の基礎知識や種類の違いについてレクチャーを受けました。 4種類のお茶を試飲し、それぞれに合わせたお茶菓子とのペアリングも体験。 茶葉の種類やお湯の温度に応じて「味や香りの違いがよく分かった」「組み合わせが新鮮で楽しい」といった声が寄せられました。お茶を囲んで自然と会話も弾み、学びと交流のひとときとなりました。ご参加いただいた皆さま、ありがとうございました！ On February 21st, JCW hosted an event, “Discover the Charm of Chinese Tea" at Greenova, located in Frisco, Tecas. Thanks to the generous support of Greenova, we were able to enjoy a warm and welcoming atmosphere while learning about the basics of Chinese tea.  Participants sampled 4 different teas and experienced thoughtful pairings with complementary sweets. We were able to taste and appreciate the differences in flavor and aroma depending on the type of tea leaves and water temperature.  Thank you for joining our event, we had a great time together!

New Year Networking Dinner (Feb 7 2026) 米国時間の2026年2月7日、JCW新年会ネットワーキングディナーを、Texas州Allen市のダウンタウンにある Hedary’s Mediterranean Restaurant  にて開催しました。本イベントは当初1月24日に予定されていましたが、テキサスを襲った大寒波の影響により、約2週間延期しての開催となりました。 会場となった Hedary’s は、レバノン・ベイルートから内戦を逃れてテキサスに移住したご夫婦によって創業されたレストランです。最初はフォートワースで開業し、1980年代に息子さんの代で Allen に移転。現在の店舗は、1904年に建てられた築122年のビクトリア調の一軒家で、当時は14人の子どもがいる大家族が暮らしていたそうです。レストランとして改装された後も、床やドアなど随所に当時の面影が残り、アンティークでアットホームな雰囲気が漂う空間です。 延期の影響で残念ながら参加できなくなった方もいらっしゃいましたが、当日は総勢17名が参加。スパークリングワインで乾杯した後、レバノン料理のフムス、ナスのペースト、きゅうりとヨーグルトのサラダ、焼きたての自家製ピタパン、タッブーレ（パセリ・トマト・玉ねぎのサラダ）、ファラッファル（ひよこ豆のコロッケ）、地中海風サラダなどが次々と並びました。メインにはチキンの丸焼き、ひき肉料理、肉のグリルが大皿で提供され、最後は甘いバグラバとレバノンコーヒー、ミントティー、ハーブティーで締めくくりました。 ※バグラバは、ナッツを何層もの薄い生地で重ね、シロップを染み込ませた中東の伝統菓子です。 和気あいあいと歓談 食事の途中には参加者全員の自己紹介タイムを実施。受付時に筆ペンで書いていただいた「今年の抱負」を披露しながら発表していただきました。短い一言の中に、それぞれのバックグラウンドや想いが凝縮されており、聞く側も自然と親近感が湧く時間となりました。 その後はビンゴゲームを開催。皆さん真剣な表情で番号を探し、1位から5位の方へ景品をお渡ししました。終盤には席替えを行い、ネットワーキングタイムへ。久しぶりに再会された方、今回が初参加の方、それぞれ会話が弾み、会場は終始和気あいあいとした雰囲気に包まれていました。 ご参加いただいた皆さま、心温まる楽しい時間を本当にありがとうございました。 On February 7, 2026, JCW (Japanese Career Women) hosted its New Year Networking Dinner at Hedary’s Mediterranean Restaurant, located in downtown Allen, Texas. The event was originally scheduled for January 24 but was postponed for approximately two weeks due to a severe winter storm that impacted Texas. The venue, Hedary’s Mediterranean Restaurant, was founded by a couple who fled the civil war in Beirut, Lebanon, and immigrated to Texas. The restaurant first opened in Fort Worth and later relocated to Allen in the 1980s under the leadership of their son. The current location is a Victorian-style house built in 1904, making it 122 years old. It is said that a large family with 14 children once lived there. Although the house was later converted into a restaurant, many original elements—such as the floors and doors—have been preserved, creating a warm, antique, and welcoming atmosphere. While a few members were unfortunately unable to attend due to the rescheduling, a total of 17 participants joined the dinner. After a toast with sparkling wine, guests enjoyed a generous selection of Lebanese and Mediterranean dishes, including hummus, eggplant dip, cucumber yogurt salad, freshly baked homemade pita bread, tabbouleh (a parsley, tomato, and onion salad), falafel (fried chickpea croquettes), and Mediterranean-style salad. The main courses—served family-style on large platters—included roasted whole chicken, seasoned ground meat dishes, and grilled meats. The evening concluded with baklava, a traditional Middle Eastern dessert made of layered phyllo dough, nuts, and syrup, accompanied by Lebanese coffee, mint tea, and herbal tea. During the meal, all participants took part in a self-introduction session. At registration, each guest was asked to write their “goal for the year” using a Japanese calligraphy brush pen and share it with the group. Even in just a few words, each message reflected personal backgrounds and aspirations, naturally fostering a sense of connection among attendees. This was followed by a bingo game, where everyone eagerly searched for their numbers. Prizes were awarded to the first through fifth place winners. Toward the end of the evening, seats were rearranged to allow for additional networking time. Conversations flowed easily among both familiar faces and first-time participants, and the venue remained filled with a friendly and lively atmosphere throughout the night. We sincerely thank everyone who joined us and helped make this evening such a warm and enjoyable experience.
