4カ国からの参加者と国際交流を楽しみました！ 日本・アメリカ・オーストラリア・ベトナムから参加！ 社会人も学生も一緒に楽しくお話しました！ English will follow 日本時間4/6、アメリカ時間(CST)4/5に、第7回”Language Exchange Free Talk Event”を開催しました！🙌 今回はなんと！日本、アメリカ、オーストラリア、ベトナムから参加者が集まり、学生だけでなく卒業生も含めた合同イベントにパワーアップしました✨🇺🇸🇯🇵🇦🇺🇻🇳 ひなまつり＆イースターの文化紹介をしてお互いの国の文化を共有しあったり、春休みについて話したり、日本語と英語でとても楽しく交流できました🌸🐣✨ 自由に会話してSNSの交換もするなど、外国に友達の輪を広げる素晴らしい機会となりました！！😊 参加者のみなさん、ありがとうございました！！！ 今後も開催予定です！ぜひご参加いただけると嬉しいです☺️ ーーーーーーーーー On April 5th (CST) / April 6th (JPT), we hosted "Language Exchange Free Talk Event #7 ! 🙌 It was a collaborative event by students and alumni from USA, Japan, Australia and Vietnam.🇺🇸🇯🇵🇦🇺🇻🇳 We enjoyed cultural exchange by leaning “Hinamatsuri” & “Easter” and talking about Spring Break in Japanese and English. 🌸🐣✨ It was such a wonderful time to make many friends in other countries by enjoying free conversation and exchanging SNS!!😊 Thank you to all the participants!!! Let’s Talk Long-Distance Caregiving –Take-a-Breath Café (Apr 19, 2025) 参加者のみなさんと笑顔で記念撮影！(A cheerful group photo with all the participants!) 2025年4月19日に遠距離介護について語ろう「ほっと一息カフェ」をStonebriar Center内のCapital One Caféにて開催しました。 親の介護は、多くの方にとって人生のある段階で直面する大きな課題です。 特に海外に居住している場合、物理的な距離の制約から、十分なサポートができないもどかしさを感じることも少なくありません。また、現地での仕事や生活基盤を考慮すると、日本に長期間滞在して介護に対応することが現実的に難しいケースも多く見られます。 現在、遠距離介護の真っ只中にいらっしゃる方、またはこれから遠距離介護に直面するかもしれない方々を対象に、情報交換や体験談の共有、そして心をゆるめるひとときを過ごしていただける「ほっと一息カフェ」を定期的に開催していく予定です。 今回は記念すべき第1回目として、対面形式での開催となりました。 第1回「ほっと一息カフェ」では、まず参加者のみなさんに自己紹介をしていただき、その後、JCWスタッフから、3年半にわたる遠距離介護の体験談を共有させていただきました。 みなさん真剣に耳を傾けてくださいました。 続くフリートークでは、日本の親御さんの介護状況やご自身の介護経験、また、アメリカにいながらどのように工夫して遠距離介護に取り組んでいるかといった、貴重な体験をシェアし合う場となりました。 まさに、情報交換と支え合いの場として、温かいひとときを過ごすことができました。 次回の「ほっと一息カフェ」でも、一人でも多くの皆さまとお会いできることを心より楽しみにしています。 On April 19, 2025, we held our first "Take-a-Breath Café" event at the Capital One Café inside Stonebriar Centre, focusing on the topic of long-distance caregiving. Caring for aging parents is a significant life challenge that many of us will eventually face. For those living overseas, the physical distance often leads to feelings of frustration at not being able to provide the level of support they wish. Furthermore, given the demands of work and daily life abroad, it is often not realistic to stay in Japan for an extended period to manage caregiving responsibilities. To support those currently navigating long-distance caregiving, as well as those who may encounter it in the future, JCW plans to host regular "Take-a-Breath Café" gatherings—safe spaces where participants can exchange information, share personal experiences, and simply take a moment to breathe. This first event was held in person to mark the start of this new initiative. During the session, we began with introductions from all participants, followed by a sharing session where a JCW staff member spoke about her own experiences with long-distance caregiving over the past three and a half years. Participants listened attentively and engaged deeply with the stories shared. In the open discussion that followed, attendees exchanged valuable insights and experiences, including the current caregiving needs of their parents in Japan, their own caregiving journeys, and creative ways they have managed caregiving responsibilities while living in the United States. The event became a true space for mutual support, heartfelt conversations, and meaningful information exchange. We look forward to seeing even more of you at our next "Take a Breather Café"!

日立ハイテクでご活躍の方からお話を伺いました！ とても貴重なお話を伺い、ディスカッションすることができました！ English will follow 11月27日に、日立ハイテク所属のお二人をお招きし、パネルディスカッションを開催しました！ 多彩な経験をお持ちのお二人のお話は非常に内容が濃く、多くの刺激を受ける貴重な時間となりました。 特に印象に残ったのは、「悩みを抱え込まず、自分が挑戦したいことややりたいことを口に出すことが大切」というお言葉です。声に出すことで人との繋がりが生まれ、多くのコミュニティに参加するきっかけとなり、結果としてやりたいことの実現に繋がるというお話に共感しました。 お二人の温かいお人柄のおかげで、会場は和やかな雰囲気に包まれ、有意義な時間を過ごすことができました。 Unlimitedでは、「すべての日本人女子学生が自分らしく世界で輝けるように」という理念のもと、今後も多くのイベントや活動を予定しています！ InstagramやXで情報を発信していきますので、その際はぜひご参加ください！ On November 27, we invited two members of Hitachi High-Tech to join us for a panel discussion! The two speakers, who have various experiences, gave us inspiring talks, and we had a very valuable time listening to them. What impressed me the most was their advice: “It is important to speak up about what you want to challenge and what you want to do, without keeping your worries to yourself.” I strongly agree with their idea that by speaking out, we can connect with others, join different communities, and eventually achieve what we want to do. Thanks to their kind and approachable personalities, the event had a warm atmosphere, and we were able to spend a meaningful time together. Unlimited will continue to hold more events and activities with the goal of “helping all Japanese female students shine in the world in their own way.” We will share updates on Instagram and X, so please join us next time!

留学生と一緒にアメリカの文化を楽しみました！ 沢山の参加者のみなさんと国際交流できました！ 12/19に津田塾大学小平キャンパスでHoliday Partyを開催しました！！ アメリカ出身の留学生から、アメリカのHoliday Cultureについてプレゼンしてもらい、みんなでアメリカの文化に親しむことができました！！🇺🇸 参加者の皆さんと一緒に、アメリカの文化であるHoliday Cardの手作り体験、ビンゴゲーム、おいしいお菓子を楽しみながら、様々な国出身の留学生と国際交流できました！😊✨ これからも様々なイベントを計画・実施していきますので、ぜひご参加ください！ On December 19th, Unlimited hosted a Holiday Party at Tsuda University in Kodaira, Tokyo! An international student from the US had a special presentation about American Holiday Culture for us and we experienced it by making Holiday Cards!!🇺🇸 We also had a wonderful time enjoying Bingo Game, snacks, and great conversations with International students from various countries!😊✨ We’re planning next fun event! 5団体合同ミーティングを開催しました！ 海を超えてJCWの学生団体の輪が広がっています！ PAW(SA): University of Texas at Dallas Unlimited: 津田塾大学 Texas A&M University-commerce JSA: University of North Texas JCW 以上５つの団体が集まり、英語で合同ミーティングを行いました。 それぞれの団体・大学が活動内容を発表し、その後ディスカッションを行いました。私たちがやったことのない企画を沢山実施していて、とても刺激を受けました。 当初はUnlimitedとPAW(SA)のみでやる予定でしたが、さらに３つの団体が加わり、とても濃い1時間になりました。今後もこのようなイベントを開催できたらと思っています。 (English follows) PAW(SA): University of Texas at Dallas Unlimited: Tsuda University Texas A&M Commerce JSA: University of North Texas JCW On April 13th, these five groups collaborated to hold a successful student-led virtual meeting. During the first part of the event, we presented about our universities and organization activities. Then, we held a free-talk to get to know everyone better. Overall, it was an incredible experience that helped us gain new ideas and perspectives! While the event began with just Unlimited and PAW(SA), we were happy to see it grow with even more participants. Hopefully, we can hold even more collaborations in the future.

ピクニックパーティーを開催しました！ ピクニックパーティー参加者のみなさん 4月27日にピクニックパーティーを開催しました!公園を散歩したり、ミニゲームをしたりと、とても楽しく充実した時を過ごしました。今回は、留学生を含むイベントにて比較的大人数で開催出来たので、とても嬉しかったです。ありがとうございました！またのイベントでお会いしましょう。 We hosted a picnic party on April 27th! We had such a fun and fulfilling time walking in the park and playing games. It was exciting to see a large number of international students participated in our event - thank you very much! Looking forward to seeing you all at the next event.

沢山の方へ活動の様子を紹介できました！ 準備から当日運営までメンバーで協力して大成功させることができました！ English will follow 10月19日と20日の2日間に渡り第65回津田塾祭にブースを出展しました！ 昨年に続き、活動紹介を行ったほか、今年は留学やジェンダーに関するクイズも実施しました！ 高校生や地域の方を含め、多くの方とお話し、私たちの活動に関して客観的な意見をいただくことができました。 ご来場いただきありがとうございました！ We participated in Tsuda Festival on October 19th and 20th (JST). This year we held quizzes related to studying abroad and gender issues in addition to the introduction of our activities as last year. We had the opportunity to talk with many people, including high school students and local community members, and received objective feedback about our activities. Thank you for coming!!

As the event kicked off, members of PAW(SA)—our student chapter—arrived, including students from the University of North Texas (UNT) and the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). Their presence immediately filled the venue with youthful energy and enthusiasm. Throughout the afternoon, more guests arrived: familiar faces who have supported JCW events in the past, long-time supporters of our activities, and even some first-time attendees. We were thrilled to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones. Guests enjoyed coffee, iced tea, and sandwiches from Mudleaf Coffee . Additionally, thanks to the generous support of Tiff's Treats , we were delighted to offer delicious chocolate chip cookies to everyone. It was a wonderful way to share a relaxing Saturday afternoon together. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us and supported this event. A special thank you goes to Mudleaf Coffee  for allowing us to use their beautiful space and to Tiff's Treats  for their kind donation of sweets.
